The experienced goalkeeper transferred this past summer from FC Ingolstadt and stands behind Bernd Leno as the number two keeper for Leverkusen. The 32-year-old recently enjoyed a 3-0 win against AS Monaco in the Champions League between the posts. Özcan has been on Austria’s National Team since 2008. He earned the nickname “Rambo” in his youth from a coach on the amateur team “because I’m positively crazy, he always said”.
